The Main Entrance is adorned with four pillars and a pointed roof all made of sandstone and has the hunting horn etched into it.
Over the years this entrance has been changed and added to. When the house was first built the main entrance was at the rear of the house and this would have been a secondery door. It would have been less grand and the door would have been open to the elements.
The window above the door of the morning room is also a later addition and this can clearly be seen due to different stone that was used.
