The servants corridor on the second floor is quite compact, it gives access to the servants stairs, the lift, Largs Bathroom, House Maids Closet and Crosbie Bathroom.
There is a glass paneled door that gives access to the main corridor where the bedrooms and onwards to the Grand Staircase. In days gone by the glass would have been net curtained to seperate sevants from the main household.
When the house was fully in use the floor would have been stained and varnished, nowadays it has a basic carpet in place which are offcuts from the main stair carpets.
