The Game Larder was located next to the Garage and was a self contained building used for storing Game like Rabbits, Deer, Pheasants and Hares during the maturation process as it improves with cool ventilation while reducing the odour problem.

These were very popular in the 18th Century and formed part of every country estate. The building still exists to this day but no longer used for the purpose it was built.
